An aide to governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Abubakar Bakarabe Kofar Na’isa has been attacked by thugs on Sunday in Kano, who stabbed him with knife and did away with his mobile phone.

The thugs might have been exploiting gatherings of people and committing their atrocities, intimidating them and seizing their personal properties.

Confirming the incident on his Facebook page, Kofar Na’isa alleged that the thugs are of the Kwankwasiya movement, saying that they stabbed him, though he did not sustain serious injury, they did away with his mobile phone containing his MTN line was taken away.

“I was attacked by Kwankwasiyya thugs today at Kofar Dan Agundi who stabbed me with knife and took away my mobile phone containing my MTN line.

“Luckily for me in God’s grace I have not sustained any serious injury but they were able to cart away my phone.

“I pray the Almighty God will continue to protect our lives from such malice” he stated.
