Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been accused of assaulting a journalist outside a social venue in Turkey.
The journalist, Tolga Bozduman, claimed that the Galatasaray forward became enraged after noticing him filming his exit from the venue.

“He tried to grab my camera, punched me, and even offered to pay me to delete the photos,” Bozduman alleged. He further claimed that Osimhen threatened him, saying, “I’ll destroy you.”
This is not the first time Osimhen has been caught up in controversy. The striker has previously been involved in several disputes, one of which occurred between him and former Super Eagles assistant coach, Finidi George. The issue reportedly stemmed from comments made by George about Osimhen’s performance during international duty. Osimhen, frustrated by the criticism, publicly responded, which led to a brief period of tension.
Despite his impressive form this season, with 15 goals and six assists for Galatasaray, the recent allegations and past disputes have placed Osimhen under intense public scrutiny.
As Galatasaray prepares to face Konyaspor in a crucial Super Lig match on Friday, questions linger over whether the controversy will affect Osimhen’s availability or the team’s performance.
