Speaking at the White House alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump described his vision of turning Gaza into “the Riviera of the Middle East.” However, the proposal lacks details on how to relocate over two million Palestinians currently living in the region.
Trump claimed support from key Middle Eastern leaders, but countries like Egypt, Jordan, and Palestinian authorities have firmly rejected the plan.
Palestinian envoy to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, reaffirmed that Palestinians will not be forced to abandon their homeland.
While Netanyahu commended Trump’s unconventional approach, he did not dismiss the possibility of renewed conflict with Hamas or other regional adversaries.
