Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema delivered a spectacular performance at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.

The event, which reportedly had a budget of $600 million, saw Rema earning an impressive $3 million for his performance.

Held on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the wedding featured a star-studded lineup of international performers. Rema captivated the audience with his global hit “Calm Down,” receiving an enthusiastic response from the high-profile guests in attendance.

Rema joined a roster of other A-list artists who graced the stage during the four-day wedding extravaganza. Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber reportedly earned $10 million for his performance, while pop icon Rihanna also delivered a memorable show for an undisclosed fee.

The wedding, which marked the culmination of a series of lavish celebrations hosted by the Ambani and Merchant families since March, drew a distinguished guest list. Attendees included Kim Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt, and former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, among others.
