During the hunger protest in Kano today, hoodlums attacked TVC News senior reporter Ibrahim Isah and ten other journalists.

The incident occurred on August 1, 2024, while the journalists were covering the large-scale demonstration against severe food shortages and escalating prices in the region. The assailants, whose identities remain unknown, appeared organized and intent on disrupting the media coverage.
