The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a road accident on Saturday evening, July 20, while on official duty along the Daura–Katsina highway.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed that the governor did not sustain any serious injuries and is in stable condition.
“Governor Radda remains in high spirits and is in good health,” the statement read.
The governor also expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection and appreciated the outpouring of prayers and concern from the people of Katsina State and other well-wishers.
