The news of his passing was announced by Malam Hamisu Umar Yakasai, a close associate and member of the NRO. Guɗe died in the early hours of the morning, around 5 a.m., marking the end of a lifetime of public service and community engagement.

He was known for his strong commitment, deep expertise, and tireless efforts in advancing the goals of the organization. His contributions left a lasting mark on both the NRO and the broader community.

Guɗe is survived by his wife, children, and other relatives. Funeral prayers will be held at the Juma’at Mosque of Bayero University’s Old Campus in Kano, followed by his burial at the Farm Centre Graveyard in Tarauni Local Government Area around 2:30 p.m. today.

The NRO has described him as a statesman, community leader, and gentleman whose legacy extends beyond the political sphere. He played a key role in establishing the Kano State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and once contested for the governorship.
