The Kogi state government has declared Thursday, 23rd and Friday 24th of February 2023 as work- free days in the state to enable workers to travel out and vote on Saturday.

This was contained in a statement signed by the state Head of Civil Service, Mrs Odiyo O. Hannah which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Kogi workers are expected to use the declared days to prepare for the Saturday presidential and National Assembly election.

“This is to enable Workers source for Money to travel to their respective bases for election on Saturday 25th February,2023.

“We value the Public/Civil Servants and appreciate their support and cooperation all the while”, the statement read. (Daily Trust)
