In a statement released on Tuesday, the forum’s executive committee said the decision was made “after careful deliberation and in the best interest of the forum and APC as a whole.”

The forum assured its members that an acting chairman and secretary would be appointed soon to ensure the smooth running of its activities.

Reaffirming its loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the forum stated, “We affirm our support for this vision and leadership while continuing to strengthen the party and our beloved state.”
