The Federal Government of Nigeria has rewarded Nafisah Abdullahi, winner of the TeenEagle global finals, with N200,000 for her outstanding achievement.
Nafisah, a student of Nigerian Tulip International College, emerged as the global champion, surpassing more than 20,000 participants from 69 countries.

A special recognition ceremony was held in Abuja on Thursday, where the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, and the Minister of State for Education, Professor Suiwaba Ahmad, honored Nafisah and other top-performing students from the competition.
Dr. Alausa described Nafisah as “a beacon of excellence and inspiration to Nigerian youths” and emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to developing human capital through investments in education, health, and social protection.
The TeenEagle competition evaluates students’ proficiency in English, critical thinking, and communication skills, with winners earning recognition and gifts from the government.
The Minister also reiterated plans to strengthen foundational education, reduce the number of out-of-school children, and continue increasing budgetary support for the sector.
