A fatal road accident at Eldorado Cinema Junction along Airport Road in Kano has claimed two lives, leaving one person critically injured.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano Sector Command confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday, signed by the command’s Sector Public Education Officer, Abdullahi Labaran. The accident, attributed to reckless driving, involved a commercial DAF truck and a private Jincheng motorcycle carrying six male passengers.
Emergency responders rushed the injured victim to Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, while the deceased were taken to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. The FRSC has handed over the vehicles and recovered items to the Gwagwarwa Police Division for further investigation.
Labaran expressed condolences to the bereaved families and urged motorists to adhere to traffic regulations to prevent similar tragedies.
