In a statement, the university’s registrar, Hajiya Rakiya Bello Dangado, confirmed that the full licence was awarded following a recent assessment visit by the NUC’s visitation panel. The panel evaluated the university’s facilities and procedures and expressed satisfaction with the institution’s standards.

“The management of NUC, therefore, granted a full licence to the university in place of the provisional certificate initially issued at commencement. This outcome is a product of commitment to excellence by the institution’s governing council, management, and staff who have been working collectively to carve a niche for the university,” Dangado’s statement read.

Additionally, the office of the vice chancellor, Prof. Yusuf Daraja, congratulated stakeholders, particularly the students, highlighting the university’s progress and achievements within just a few years of operation.
