The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, has married Safiyya Tofa in a quiet ceremony attended by only a few family members and close associates.

The low-key wedding took place on Friday without any public announcement or celebration, sources familiar with the event confirmed.
In a heartfelt post shared on social media, the bride, Safiyya Tofa, a mother of four, expressed gratitude to friends and well-wishers for their prayers and support. She described the occasion as a new chapter in her life, thanking God for a smooth and successful ceremony.
Despite the private nature of the event, the union has drawn warm congratulations from APC members and supporters across Kano State. However, neither Abbas nor the state party leadership has issued an official statement regarding the marriage.
