Buni dispels rumours of Akpanudoedehe’s sack

The Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Mai Mala Buni, on Friday, met with the committee’s Secretary, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, dispelling the rumor that the latter had been sacked.

Rounds making the media had it that the committee’s secretary was sacked but Buni has clarified the air that Akpanudoedehe hasn’t been sacked.

The speculations making round had it that Akpanudoedehe was sacked by a majority of the members of the committee on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

A further report had it that a vote of no confidence was passed on the party’s scribe in a notice signed by 10 of the 12 members of the committee

Buni in a statement released on Friday dispelled the report about Akpamudoedehe’s removal.

The ruling party in the past few days have been going back and forth on issues regarding their leadership and the national convention of the party.
