While some state governors are uncertain in respect to the next step to take as military offensive on bandits and other criminal elements intensified in some northwest states, Governor Ganduje has taken a giant stride to save lives.

Governor Ganduje is an administrator par excellence. He does not rest on his oar. One of his immediate goals is to safeguard Kano State.

He had observed that the military operations may compel criminal elements to relocate to the neighbouring states, including Kano State.

Only a state governor with a strong mind will take such daring and timely decisions.

At last, Kano State Government has banned unauthorized sale and rent of house.

This is a follow up to the community police the Ganduje administration is expending resources and energy on to make Kano safe.

Not only this, the government said non-compliance would be construed as deliberate and calculated connivance and collaboration with criminal elements to subvert the prevailing peace and security in the state.
Any uncooperative land agent will face the music, said Governor Ganduje.
To match words with action, the state government has started revoking and confiscating all lands and structures with approval issues in the metropolitan areas.

See talent! Any confiscated property will be converted to mega schools.

The governor is killing two birds with one stone: by doing so he is protecting lives and property and addressing the issue of school congestions in the state.
