This will be the third consecutive year that Morocco hosts the prestigious event, following the success of last year’s ceremony. The vibrant city of Marrakech, known for its rich culture and thriving tourism, will once again be the center of African football’s grand celebration.

The awards will spotlight outstanding performances in club and national football, with the highly anticipated titles of African Player of the Year in both the men’s and women’s categories set to headline the event.

Although the final list of nominees is yet to be announced, football stars such as Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman, Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy, and Morocco’s Brahim Díaz are expected to be strong contenders. Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala, the reigning titleholders in the men’s and women’s categories, will also look to defend their crowns.

Further details, including the official start time of the ceremony, will be announced by CAF soon.
