Twenty-eight Students of Bethel Baptist high school abducted by bandits have been released.

They are part of the scores kidnapped from the Kaduna school.

Reports say 80 students are still in captivity.

Kaduna State Chairman of the Christain Association of Nigeria, CAN, Reverend Joseph Hayab, confirmed the development.

Hayab said the freed 20 students would be reunited with their parents at the school premises soon.

He further revealed that quite a number of the students had escaped from the kidnappers den, while 80 are still in captivity, but are hopeful that more would be released soon.

Rev. Hayab thanked Nigerians for their prayers, moral and physical support
