Embattled Samuel Anyanwu has resumed duties as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Anyanwu reportedly arrived at the PDP secretariat at about 10:56 a.m. and proceeded to his office, where he was welcomed by his personal staff.

Addressing journalists from his desk, Anyanwu dismissed claims made by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, regarding a court ruling on the position.

Ologunagba had earlier stated that the party had acknowledged an Appeal Court judgment that recognized Sunday Okoye as the National Secretary.

Reacting to the statement, Anyanwu said, “That is his opinion. It’s not the opinion of the party.

“As National Publicity Secretary of the party, I wouldn’t want to disparage him. Maybe he didn’t get the facts correctly. I have appealed.”
