According to the statement, several terrorist hideouts have been destroyed, numerous bandits have been neutralised, and hundreds of kidnapped victims have been rescued.

The government stressed the importance of residents reporting suspicious activities, pointing out that fleeing bandits might infiltrate communities under various disguises.

The statement explained that some bandits, including injured members, are likely seeking refuge in villages or attempting to access medical treatment at local clinics. It urged residents to remain alert and cooperate with authorities to address these threats.

The statement further noted that these actions align with Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s agenda of creating a safer and more economically viable Sokoto State.

The government reaffirmed its determination to work closely with security agencies to protect citizens and restore peace across the state.
