This was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the festive occasion.

The minister called on the Muslim faithful to reflect the values of sacrifice, obedience, and faith demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim, which form the essence of the celebration.

Tunji-Ojo also urged Nigerians to pray for peace and prosperity in the country, stressing that national unity and collaboration are vital for progress.

He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Tinubu, which he described as a people-centered plan designed to restore Nigeria’s growth and development.

Tunji-Ojo appealed to all citizens to support the government’s efforts in rebuilding the nation, noting that “by working together, Nigeria can reclaim its place of greatness.”
