Preliminary investigations by the FRSC revealed that 19 passengers died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries and were rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital in Kano.

Among the dead was Abdulsamad Rabi’u, a medical officer attached to the delegation.

FRSC Sector Commander MB Bature expressed profound sorrow over the loss of lives and urged drivers to avoid speeding, overloading, and other traffic violations, which are major causes of accidents.
