The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This year’s examination saw the participation of over 1.9 million candidates across the country. However, not all results were made available. JAMB has withheld the results of 39,834 candidates due to alleged examination misconduct. In addition, 80 individuals suspected of engaging in examination fraud are currently being interrogated nationwide. Anambra State recorded the highest number of suspects, with 14 people under investigation.
According to JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, 467 underage candidates reached the minimum required score, while 50 of them were found to have participated in malpractice.
