Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has withdrawn Dr Ibrahim Yusuf Ngoshe’s nomination as a commissioner.

Malam Isa Gusau, the Governor’s spokesman, announced this in a statement issued on Saturday, explaining that the number of commissioner nominees has now been reduced from 18 to 17.

Zulum made his decision in a letter to the Borno State House of Assembly on Friday evening.

According to the statement, Governor Zulum submitted 18 names to the Assembly on Friday, July 28, 2023, including Ngoshe’s, who was the 13th.
