Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Gudaji Kazaure, has declared his readiness to support former presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s plan to rescue Nigeria.
Daily News 24 reports that Kazaure made this known following a private meeting with Atiku at his residence on Saturday, where they discussed the country’s challenges and the need for political unity.

Kazaure revealed that northern elders and leaders had convened before the meeting to deliberate on solutions to Nigeria’s problems. He lamented that many elected officials had abandoned their responsibilities and that past administrations failed to address corruption despite repeated exposures.
“No one can say we did not expose corruption,” Kazaure said. “This government promised investigations, but nothing has been done.”
Expressing frustration over being sidelined, he added, “Nobody has invited me, nobody has called me, and nobody even knows whether I exist or not.”
Despite this, Kazaure stressed that his focus remains on uniting patriotic politicians committed to Nigeria’s progress.
“We do not align with any party; we are here to serve the country,” he said.
Kazaure described his meeting with Atiku as a personal visit to pay respects, appreciating the warm reception he received. He commended Atiku’s leadership, saying, “He is not thinking about himself alone; he is thinking about the Nigerian people.”
He emphasized that leadership should prioritize the Nigerian people above all else and reaffirmed his commitment to following the guidance of experienced leaders for national development.
