In a statement signed by Comrade Musa A. Ibrahim (Best Seller), Acting Director of Public Enlightenment at the commission, the project was described as part of WAMY’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support communities in need.

Speaking on behalf of the commission, Sheikh Ali Danabba expressed gratitude for the intervention, noting that the construction of the 150-meter borehole would significantly ease the commission’s water challenges.

“For a long time, we struggled with water scarcity, and many have called for assistance. WAMY has responded with this commendable initiative,” he said.

The chairman of the commission, Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji, also appreciated WAMY’s contributions to humanitarian causes and encouraged other organizations to follow suit in supporting community development.

Earlier, WAMY Chairman Hisham Abdussalam reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to advancing Islamic development globally.

Established in 2003 during the administration of former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau, the Kano State Sharia Commission has played a key role in promoting Islamic values in the state. Daneji noted that with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s renewed attention to the commission, efforts are underway to restore its former status.
