The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has called for the recall of Hon. Ali Sani Madakin Gini from the National Assembly, accusing him of failing to adequately represent the people of Dala federal constituency.

Waiya expressed dissatisfaction with Madakin Gini’s performance, describing his actions as a deviation from the expectations of his constituents. “The people of Dala Local Government deserve better representation. The recall of Hon. Madakin Gini is necessary to address the needs and concerns of our constituents,” he stated.

The commissioner underscored the political importance of Dala Local Government Area, noting its significant influence in the state’s political landscape.

According to him, the area boasts the highest number of commissioners in the Kano State Executive Council and includes the majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly.

Madakin Gini’s decision to abandon the Kwankwasiyya ideology and establish his own political movement has drawn criticism from his former allies. Waiya argued, “Madakin Gini has clearly stated he is no longer a part of the people who championed and voted for him. Therefore, there is no need for him to continue in this post when he isn’t representing the interests of the people of Dala.”

Waiya also disclosed his readiness to begin the recall process, pending approval from party leadership.
