President Bola Tinubu has officially inaugurated the board and management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), nearly two months after announcing their appointments.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with key figures including Ahmadu Kida, who will serve as the Non-Executive Chairman, and Bashir Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company.
The 11-member board is drawn from different geopolitical zones across the country. Other members of the board include Adedapo Segun, Bello Rabiu, Yusuf Usman, Babs Omotowa, Austin Avuru, David Ige, and Henry Obih.
The event was witnessed by several top-ranking government officials, including Minister of Finance Wale Edun, Minister of Information Mohammed Idris, and Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Heineken Lokpobiri.
