President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers as part of a cabinet re-alignment that also saw the redeployment of 10 other ministers.

Additionally, seven new individuals have been nominated to serve as ministers in his administration.

In a related move, Tinubu appointed Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation, a role he will carry out under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Among the ministers sacked are Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Prof. Tahir Mamman, SAN, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
