The reappointment was confirmed through a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

According to the statement, President Tinubu expects Professor Sheshe to “re-dedicate himself to improving the standards of the hospital and ensuring the efficient delivery of qualitative services to citizens.”

Professor Sheshe, who initially assumed the role of CMD on December 6, 2019, has been recognized for his contributions to enhancing the hospital’s operations and service delivery.

Sheshe’s reappointment reflects the government’s confidence in his ability to further elevate the standards of healthcare provided at AKTH.

During his first term, Professor Sheshe was instrumental in several initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services, which contributed to his reappointment.

The President anticipates that this renewed mandate will allow him to consolidate on the achievements of his first term and continue to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Kano and beyond.
