Tinubu expressed deep concern over the killings, emphasizing that such acts of violence against innocent Nigerians will not be tolerated. He reassured the victims’ families that the government remains committed to upholding law and order while protecting citizens from senseless attacks.

Condemning the act as jungle justice, the President insisted that every Nigerian has the right to move freely without fear of harm. He also commended Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo and community leaders for their swift intervention in preventing further escalation of tensions in the area.

Tinubu further directed law enforcement agencies to expedite their investigation and ensure that those responsible face the full wrath of the law.
