According to Osifo, labour leaders from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and TUC were en route to the SGF office for discussions.

“Yes, we are heading there now,” Osifo stated.

The emergency meeting aims to address the grievances that led to the strike, which has significantly impacted various sectors across the country.

The outcome of the meeting is anticipated with the hope that it will bring a resolution to the ongoing industrial action.
