Speaking with Arise TV while discussing the recent diplomatic tension between Nigeria and the United States, Ndume said it is almost impossible to meet the president without offering some form of inducement to intermediaries.

He also criticized the president’s close aides, describing them as “Kakistocrats,” and suggested that the administration is largely managed by incompetent officials.

Ndume explained that he rarely has the opportunity to meet the president, and the only occasions he does are when the president is leaving for an event. He noted that the government is controlled by unqualified officials, and that arranging a meeting often involves unnecessary delays and requests for payment.
