The ADP Governorship Campaign Council strongly condemns the recent attack on one of our campaign vehicles by thugs allegedly sponsored by the APC in the Mandawari area of Kano Metropolis.

Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada, the ADP governorship candidate, in a statement by Abbas Yushau Yusuf, spokesman for the ADP Gubernatorial Campaign Council, condemned the violent act and called for peace during the campaign trail.

The ADP Governorship Campaign was launched today at the Sani Abacha Youth Center in Kano with a mission to bring positive change to the state.

“We demand immediate action from the security agencies to maintain law and order and bring the perpetrators to justice.

“The ADP Governorship Campaign will not be intimidated by these cowardly acts and we will continue to spread our message of hope and change throughout Kano.” Sharada said.

“We will not rest until the security of our campaign and supporters is guaranteed.”

“The security agencies must act now to protect the rights of all citizens to engage in peaceful political activity,” he added.
