The Regional Center for Governance and Security Policy Initiative (RGGPI) has felicitated with Mallam Baba Dantiye Mni,  the founder  Dantiye  Centre for Leadership and  Journalism (DCLJ), on his 60th birthday.
 
The Center in a letter signed by its Chiarman Executive Board, Dr.Jonathan P. Sandy, salute the tenacity and vast contribution of Mallam Dantiye  towards national development in Nigeria  particularly in areas of journalism and leadership.
 
“As an African owing to  your antecedents as the then General Secretary of the Black Africa Liberation Movement (BALM) as well as a political rights activist of the defunct radical political party , the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), we are hopeful that you continue to harness your wealth of experience towards achieving a more liberated African continent” said Dr Sandy.
 
He said further stated that  the Center is proud to partner with Dantiye Centre for Leadership and Journalism (DCLJ) to promote, establish and maintain cooperation and mutual assistance in the provision of training and strategic policy research and advisory support in the fields of political governance, peace, security, justice, human rights, rule of law, economic and social scenarios and issues regional (Africa) and global strategic issues at regional and global scale with a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary  approaches.
 
The Center also recognizes Baba Dantiye’s active engagement and useful contributions at the recently held virtual dialogue organized by RCGPI on “Reflection on the cost of Armed Conflicts, 30 years after the Brutal Civil War in Sierra Leone .
