A viral video recently surfaced online showing a group of youths tearing down Tinubu’s campaign billboard in Kano. The footage, which sparked public concern, prompted the police to issue a strong warning against acts of vandalism and disorder.

In a statement by the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi, the command described the act as criminal and a threat to public safety. He said an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend those responsible.

The police emphasised that any form of property destruction will be met with serious consequences, and offenders will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, called on residents to remain peaceful and avoid actions that could disturb public order. He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to maintaining law and order across the state.
