The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, visited Kano State to participate in the passing out parade of Regular Course 5 at the Police Academy Wudil.

During his visit, the IGP met with officers and personnel of the force at the Kano Police Command headquarters. Kayode urged men of the force to maintain diligence in discharging their duties, emphasizing their role in upholding law and order.

Ahead of the passing out event, Egbetokun paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano, His royal highness Aminu Ado Bayero, reinforcing the collaboration between law enforcement and traditional leadership.

The IGP is expected to attend the regular course cadet dining in ceremony at the Academy before the passing out ceremony.

The passing out parade holds immense significance as it signifies the cadets’ successful completion of training and readiness to serve as law enforcement officers.
