In a viral TikTok video, the corps member expressed frustration over soaring commodity prices, lamenting that her monthly stipend was no longer sufficient to cover basic expenses. She highlighted the increasing costs of food and transportation, accusing the government of failing to address the economic hardship.

“The price of everything keeps going up, and nobody is doing anything about it. How are we supposed to survive?” she questioned in the video.

She further described President Tinubu’s administration as “terrible” and urged Nigerians to speak out against what she described as economic mismanagement.

However, after posting the video, the corps member alleged she was contacted by NYSC officials, who demanded that she take it down and stop making critical remarks about the government. According to her, the officials went as far as questioning her mental state for speaking against the administration.
