The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested the ward head of Kabara Quarters in Kano City over allegations of sodomy involving an underage boy.

The arrest followed a complaint lodged by the Elders and Ulama Committee in the area, which triggered an investigation by the NSCDC. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly involved in the illicit act, prompting his detention.
The case has been handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for further investigation and potential prosecution.
Confirming the incident, NAPTIP Zonal Commander Abdullahi Balarabe stated, “The suspect is currently in our custody and is undergoing investigation to determine the next course of action.”
