The Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi has felicitated with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, on Nigeria’s Independence.

The minister in a statement on Friday in Abuja, commended the genuine commitment, steadfastness and purposeful leadership of Buhari as well as his ingenuity to keep the country as one indivisible entity.

He said Buhari’s leadership qualities had made him a reference point in the African continent, hence the need for Nigerians to continue to give him maximum support to succeed.

“As Nigeria clock 61 years of independence and Nasarawa State is 25 years of creation, I wish to join millions of Nigerians in rejoicing with His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo on the occasion of Nigeria at 61.

” May I equally use this medium to facilitates with Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, the government and peace loving people of the state on the occasion of 25 years of the creation of Nasarawa.

” In Gov. Abdullahi Sule, we see a leader with a vision and genuine commitment to offering an all inclusive governance as a way of meeting the expectations of the founding fathers, who fought for the creation of the state in 1996.”

Abdullahi said that the governor had contributed immensely toward the development of the state, especially his rural road transformation, ungrade of hospitals, empowerment scheme, peace initiatives among others.

The minister, who holds the traditional title of Magajin Garin Uke Chiefdom, enjoined the people of Nasarawa to continue to support policies and programmes of the Federal Government and Nasarawa State.
