This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Commission’s Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Fatima Usara. She explained that the deadline aligns with the operational calendar released by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which enforces strict timelines for contracting and payments for essential services.
NAHCON has pegged a provisional fare of N8.5 million for intending pilgrims, noting that the figure could be reviewed after ongoing negotiations with service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the Saudi calendar, early contracting and payment for Mashair (camps) will run between September 6 and 23, 2025. The contracting of essential services, including accommodation and transportation, has been scheduled for September 23–24, while October 12, 2025, remains the deadline for pilgrim registration and submission of data through the Nusuk platform.
The Commission further disclosed that its Chairman, alongside key officials, will visit Saudi Arabia on September 22, 2025, to finalize agreements with service providers.
NAHCON stressed that adherence to the October 8 deadline is crucial for smooth operations, urging all stakeholders to cooperate fully to guarantee a seamless and well-coordinated 2026 Hajj exercise.
