A recent report stemming from Spain has credited Manchester United with an interest in RB Leipzig’s Nordi Mukiele.

Nordi Mukiele is currently honing his craft in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig, who he signed for back in 2018.

Since making the move to Leipzig, Mukiele has gone on to firmly cement himself as a key cog in Leipzig’s backline.

All told, the Frenchman has featured on 114 occasions for Die Roten Bullen. In said ties, he has scored eight goals and provided seven assists.

Mukiele would also recently earn his first senior France cap, with that coming on the 7th of September, 2021.

Mukiele, as already mentioned, is a right-back by trade, and this is where he has played the majority of his career.

However, as well as being capable of operating as a right-wing-back in a back-five, Mukiele is also well versed in the centre-back spot.

As mentioned, reports stemming from Spain have linked Mukiele with Manchester United.

According to Fichajes, The Red Devils are said to have Mukiele in their sights for the summer of 2022, with it also expected that Diogo Dalot will depart Old Trafford.

No actual transfer fee is mentioned in the report, but they do suggest that because Mukiele will have just one year left on his current deal next summer, that Man United are looking to take advantage and make an interesting offer so that the German side agree to part with their right-back.
