A 25-year-old man, Ghaddafi Saleh, has died inside main gutter at Tarauni Zaria Road by Veterinary Hospital in Kano.
This is contained in a statement issued by Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of Kano State Fire Service, on Wednesday in Kano.

He said, “We received an emergency call at about 7:26am from one Malam Abdulkadir.
“We immediately sent our rescue team to the scene at about 7:34a.m.’’
He said the victim was, however, brought out of the gutter unconscious and later confirmed dead.
The PRO said his corpse was handed over to Insp. Bashir Abdullahi of Zaria Road Police Division.
Abdullahi said the cause of the incident was the heavy rainfall last Sunday. (NAN)
