The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) conglomerate, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated the Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabi’u, on his appointment as President of the France-Nigeria. Business Council by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to journalists in Kano on Thursday.

The MAAUN President described the appointment of the business mogul to head the France-Nigeria Business Council as ‘a well-deserved appointment’ considering his immense contributions towards the country’s economic growth and development, especially his recent role in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

According to him, Abdul Samad Rabi’u, as President of the Council, would go a long way in further cementing the existing trade and business relations between Nigeria and France.

“I wish to, on behalf of myself and family and Management of MAAUN, felicitate with you on the appointment as the President of France-Nigeria Business Council.

“May the Almighty Allah guide you in the discharge of your new assignment,” Prof Abubakar Gwarzo said in the statement.

He also thanked the French government under the leadership of President Emmanuel Macron for finding Abdul Samad Rabi’u worthy of the appointment.
