The presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has commissioned the Amana Leadership Institute located in the outskirt of the city as a gift to support the education of the common man in the state.

The launching ceremony of the institute took place on Saturday at his residence after a tour of the location by the party stakeholders.

The the leadership institute will serve as a bridge to provide opportunities for those seeking to better their WAEC or NECO, sit for JAMB or prepare for any pre-tertiary entrance examinations of higher institutions.

Kwankwaso, who was flanked by his running mate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, party leaders and other candidates from the east, west and northern parts of Nigeria thanked God Almighty for the gift of life while speaking on the institute.

“Among our most recent projects we have commissioned the Juma’at Mosque of Bompai yesterday where we prayed the Friday prayer.

“Today we have commissioned the Amana Leadership Institute. The institute has the mandate to operate to assist those who could not make their WAEC or GCE where they will be tutored and assisted.

“It will serve as a preparatory institution where students can learn and get admission in universities within and outside Nigeria. These include the US, Europe and the Middle Eastern countries.

“Those who have the opportunity of passing through the school can get admission into level 2 in the university.

“It will also train students for JAMB and prepare them also for WAEC” he explained.

Among those who spoke at the occasion were Buba Galadima who praised the leadership qualities of Kwankwaso.
