The former governor of Kano state, National leader and Presidential aspirant of the New Nigerian People Party (NNPP), Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has denied the allegations on him of his involvement of Wike’s presidential aspiration.

This was made known in a press statement issued by Ibrahim Adamu, Kwankwaso’s aide in Kano on Saturday.

BREAKING: Wike sacks all cabinet members

The National leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) was said to received the sum of  15,000 USD from Rivers State Governor Mr. Nyesom Wike for PDP Kano delegates and housed them in an unnamed hotel.

Ibrahim urged the public to disregard this information as it is false and issued a 48 hours ultimatum.

He noted that “It is ridiculous that a presidential aspirant will entice an opposition party leader with money to woo delegates from his own party.

“We deny this spurious allegation in its entirety, urge the general public to discard it as a pigment of the imagination of the online tabloid.

“Lawyers have been briefed and will launch a defamation suit against the lurid tabloid”.

He added that “We give the tabloid 48 hours to retract the false news item and issue an apology in three national dailies”

Kwankwaso lastly urges his teaming supporters and followers to remain focused and resolute, as such false reports might from time to time be sponsored to blemish his soaring popularity.

Recall that on the 29th of March 2022, Sen. Muhammed Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party and addressed a national press conference.
