Kenyan High Commissioner to Nigeria, Wilfred Machage has died.

The Ambassador, it was gathered, was ill and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.

The nature of his ailment could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

But a source close to the Ambassador said he died at the hospital around 1pm on Saturday.

The source said, “It is true we lost our High Commissioner. He died around 1pm today.

“He fell sick and was rushed to the hospital. It was at the point of administering medication that he passed on.

“We can not ascertain the cause of his death now until a postmortem is conducted on him.”
