According to Alhaji Suleiman Argungu, Chairman of the Organising Committee, various committees have been established to handle specific tasks, including medical tests and other prerequisites for marriage.

The mass wedding is part of Governor Nasir Idris’s promise to periodically organize such events to support less privileged individuals in getting married. The state government will provide a dowry of N180,000 for each bride, along with additional items like room furniture and foodstuffs to help the newlyweds establish their homes.

To ensure the wedding ceremony is conducted in accordance with Islamic traditions, the state government has consulted with Islamic scholars.
