The Katsina Emirate Council has named former Aviation Minister, Senator Hadi Sirika, and Umar Radda, son of Governor Dikko Radda, among six newly appointed district heads.

The announcement was made in a statement issued Saturday by the Emirate Secretary, Alhaji Bello Ifo.

Sirika is now Marusan Katsina and District Head of Shargalle in Dutsi LGA, while Umar becomes Gwagwaren Katsina and District Head of Radda in Charanchi LGA.

Others appointed include Alhaji Sanusi Kabir-Usman (Shinkafi, Kaita LGA), Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmumini-Kabir (Dankama, Kaita LGA), Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu (Muduru, Mani LGA), and Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi (Dabai, Danja LGA).

Their appointments took effect from Saturday.
