Dikko Umar Radda, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Katsina State, has replaced his earlier nominated running mate, Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Musawa, with Faruk Lawal Kobe, Katsina Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.

Jobe, from the Funtua Senatorial District of the state, was one of those who lost the APC governorship ticket to Dikko.

Abdulkadir Ahmed, the chairman of Gwagware Media Organisation, announced the replacement in a statement.

The replacement was made possible by the voluntary withdrawal of the former running mate, Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Musawa, following extensive consultations with relevant stakeholders, according to the statement.
