President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, that everything possible will be done to resolve the dispute in Rimin Zakara and ensure that affected residents are not left without shelter.

This was disclosed in a press release on Wednesday signed by the Emir’s Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, following the Emir’s visit to Tinubu in Abuja before the President departed for Paris en route to Addis Ababa for the African Union summit.
The meeting focused on the recent demolition in Rimin Zakara, Ungogo Local Government Area, which led to the destruction of several houses, the deaths of four people, and injuries to many others.
The Emir expressed deep concern over the incident, highlighting the suffering of affected residents and urging government intervention.
In response, Tinubu expressed his grief over the loss of lives and destruction of property, assuring the Emir that he would take all necessary steps to address the situation.
He commended the Emir for his dedication to the well-being of the people of Kano and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that those displaced receive the support they need.
